The Twin City 21/32 hit the agricultural market in about 1929, following the successful development of the 12/20 and 17/28. A feature of the engines of these tractors was the use of four valves per cylinder, pretty much before this level of sophistication was adopted by motor car manufacturers.
Technical Specifications: 4-cylinder, in-line, overhead-valve kerosene engine. Bore was 4.5” and stroke was 6.0”. Output was 31hp at the drawbar and 39hp at the belt at 1075rpm. Three forward and 1 reverse gear. Weight 5880lbs.
History: These tractors arrived at the Museum in a pretty advanced state of disintegration. The intention was to use parts from two tractors to make one functioning 21/32. The Museum team have been so dedicated to the rejuvenation of these two tractors, it looks as if two tractors will emerge.
