The industrial version of the Douglas motorbike engine (FT35) was used in the Second World War to power generators on searchlights.

Technical specifications: 2-cylinders, 4-stroke, horizontally opposed pistons with Lucas magneto.

History: The Douglas family built motorbikes in Kingswood, near Bristol, U.K. from 1907-1957.
