COOPER RV ENGINE – c. 1950

Australia Flag

These motors were initially built to power Cooper Small Flock Shearing single-post stands. They were a copy of the American Johnson Iron Horse engine and were adapted to power other small applications. The one on display is for a washing machine, with a foot pedal for starting. Can you imagine the reception such a washing machine would receive if delivered to your home today?
