The Cat D2 was regarded as a small crawler tractor which was manufactured in Peoria, Illinois in the USA from 1938 to 1957. Over 26,000 of these tractors were built in this time.

Technical Specifications: 4-cylinder, 4-stroke engine. Bore 4” and stroke 5”. Gears: 3 forward and 1 reverse. Output at belt was 45.43hp and at the drawbar, 29.06hp, at around 1650rpm. Weight 7,345lbs.
