CASE LA – c. 1951

This model had similar specifications as the C and L series but it had Case magnetos and was initially offered with steel or pneumatic tyres. They were produced from 1939 until 1953.

WA Distributors (1947): Winterbottom Motor Company Ltd, 199 St Georges Terrace, Perth.

Technical Specifications: 4-cylinder, 4-stroke petrol/kerosene engine. Bore 4⅝” and stroke 6”. Output was 42.5hp at the drawbar and 50 at the belt at 1,100rpm. Gears: 4 forward and 1 reverse. Weight 7000lbs.                                                                           

History: This tractor was purchased at a clearing sale at North Dandalup in 1990-1991. It originally came from the Morawa district. This model had a hand clutch and had been used for general wheat-belt farming.
